A Beautiful place
The Old Stables holiday cottage is set in the beautiful rolling hills of South Shropshire just minutes away from the historic town of Ludlow.
The Old Stables is a charismatic, stone cottage which lies in the heart of the charming village of Richards Castle, three miles South of Ludlow. The cottage is recently renovated from 17th century stables belonging to the Court House. The Old Stables is set in a location which boasts stunning woodland walks, a boundless green landscape and undisturbed peace.
The cottage is surrounded with bygone buildings such as the 16th century Court House, a 15th century Dovecote plus the ruins of Richard Fitz Scrob’s castle built before the Norman Conquest in 1051.

"The Old Stables has been a perfect base for our summer holiday. The house has been ideal and we have enjoyed the garden where our daughter Elizabeth took her first steps! We will be very sad to leave as we have had a fantastic time and hope to return soon."
